Instagram Adam Mosseri revealing that Instagram's focus will be more on video
features in 2022.
“Priority 2022 will be an important year for
Instagram. Because the world is changing so fast. In addition to our
industry-leading safety and wellbeing efforts, we focus on four main priorities
one of which is video, we are not just an app that will share photos only and
will consolidate all video formats regarding reels and continue and develop the
product,” Moserri said on Twitter.
Actually, video is not a new thing on Instagram,
users can post videos on stories feed, reels and also IG TV. However, this
focus has actually been taken seriously by Instagram, as seen from the reels
feature toolbar which is placed on the middle main toolbar on Instagram instead
of the post toolbar.
