Siger Innovation Hub (Sigerhub) and the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of the University of Lampung signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for supporting the Independent Learning Campus (MBKM) program of the Ministry of Education and Culture. Monday (13/09), at FISIP University of Lampung.
This is one of Sigerhub's efforts to actively
contribute to the role of realizing the MBKM national program. It is known that
MBKM is in the form of a national program that has been prepared by the
Ministry as well as a program prepared by universities registered in the Higher
Education Database which is equivalent to 40 credits.
Ida Nurhaida, as the Dean of FISIP in her
speech said that she wanted to jointly prepare superior and competitive human
resources. “We really welcome this collaboration and cooperation. "After
this, so that there will be no more Butterfly student mindset. We hope that
with this collaboration we can provide positive feedback to both Siger and the
campus," said Ida, Dean of FISIP, University of Lampung.
After signing the MoU with FISIP, Sigerhub
continued to sign the MoU with the Department of Communication Studies with the
Head of the Department, Wulan Suciska.
Sigerhub CEO, Ikhwan Ferdian, also said that
he and his team not only produced good outputs, but through Sigerhub he wanted
to create superior outcomes. “We (Sigerhub) are the first cooperative-based
business incubator in Indonesia, through this opportunity we always want to
synergize with all stakeholders.
"We hope to maximize cooperation in the
penta helix model scheme," added Ikhwan Ferdian. In the midst of signing
the MoU, during the discussion, Ikhwan explained that Sigerhub provides
business assistance for 6-12 months with a curriculum and mentors that have
been prepared.
“We are always ready and open for networking
and collaboration on this MBKM program. We warmly welcome students who will
come to Sigerhub”, he concluded.
Also present at the signing of the MoU were
Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Cooperation Dedy Hermawan, Lecturer for
International Relations Indra Jaya Wiranata, Lecturer in Communication Studies
Agung Wibawa, and representatives from the Indonesian Television Journalists
Association (IJTI).
